Prof. Kyoung Mu Lee has been selected as the recipient of the ’63th Samil Prize’

Prof. Kyoung Mu Lee has been selected as the recipient of the ’63th Samil Prize’ from the Samil Foundation.

Prof. Kyoung Mu Lee, the recipient of the technology and engineering award, has been awarded for his contribution to leading the development of AI (Artificial Intelligence), especially in the field of computer vision in Korea. He has played a pivotal role in the development of the domestic and international academic and industry, and has contributed to enhance the international status of AI research in Korea through the world’s best research achievement.

This award has been established to provide the foundation for the development of Korean academics and culture by inheriting the spirit of 3·1.
The ceremony will be held on March 1 at the Westin Chosun Hotel Grand ballroom in Seoul.
