Qualcomm Korea has announced that 20 papers are selected as recipients of the Qualcomm Innovation Fellowship Korea 2020. This year, the ceremony was held online to prevent COVID-19 infections.

The program is an academic paper contest that supports research scholarships for students in M.S. and Ph.D. courses. The selection process is conducted by evaluating the presentation and poster sessions of each candidate with Qualcomm AI Research judges and this year’s participants. Innovation and creativity of ideas, research understanding, experimental results, and research potential had been examined from various perspectives to elect the final 20 winners.

Ohhyung Kwon, president of Qualcomm Korea, said that “Qualcomm continues to make various efforts to foster talented people in science and engineering, including STEM education for middle and high school students, as well as the Qualcomm Innovation Awards for undergraduates.”
